Verion 0.25 has an Instant Outliner

1. Choose Refresh Code from the dotOpml sub-menu of the Tools menu to install version 0.25.

2. You should see a new sub-menu of the OPML.Org menu, called Instant Outliner. It's got just a few commands that do the most basic stuff.

3. Subscribe to my outline, by choosing the Subscribe command. When it asks for a URL, enter the URL of my outline:

http://hosting.opml.org/dave/instantOutliner/daveWiner.opml.

4. A window should open with my name in it. Double-click the headline to see what I have to say.

5. The next step is to create your Instant Outline. Choose Open My Outline from the Instant Outliner sub-menu of the OPML.Org menu. Type. Save. Type. Save. Anyone who is subscribed to it will see the changes much as you see the changes to mine.

6. When you hear a bell ring that means one of the people you're subscribed to has updated. The Buddies outline is automatically opened, but you have to collapse and re-expand to see the changes. It works this way because you might be reading the outline when your buddy updates and would lose your place. The buddy who updated is shown in bold.

7. You should advertise the URL of your instant outline to the members of the test group. We should all subscribe to each others' outlines. There will also be automated ways to do subscribing. That's what OPML easter eggs are for. Coming soon.
