Version 0.52 has rock-solid startup code

Read this wid a British accent.

I finally took the time to really understand what was going on at startup with the background HTML displayer, and saw how utterly lame the previous approach was (and why it was hit or miss whether Harry Truman would show up at startup). I did it up right this time, and it can't fail, no way.

If you believe that I have a nice bridge I want to sell you.

So please embarass me, and install version 0.52 even though it is a brilliant summer's afternoon, and you're enjoying a beer or lemonade, and your mind is very far from OPML or editors or anything like that, and give it a whirle. Your old Uncle Fluv would sure appreciate it. ;->

Version 0.51 has working file deletion code

When you delete a file in the www folder, the OPML Editor is supposed to send a message to the community server to delete its copy of the file, but that was broken some time back. The code has been fixed, and should work now.

How to test:

1. Update by choosing Get Latest Code from the Community menu.

2. Choose Open www Folder from the Community menu.

3. Create a file in that folder. It can be a text file, picture, anything you like.

4. Verify that the file is available over the web. (If you need help figuring this out, post a question here or on the mail list.)

5. Delete the file. Wait 15 or 20 seconds.

6. Verify that it is no longer available over the web.

Still diggin! ;->
