What icon to use for an "include" nodetype?I'm starting to think about support in the OPML Editor for OPML 2.0, and there's an item on my checklist I thought I'd ask for help with.As you know, every different type of outline "node" has its own icon. We went through this when working on wordPress.root, the icon we came up with there was the favicon from wordpress.com. The "link" nodetype has an up-pointing arrow as its icon, not necessarily the most evocative icon, but it's what we got. In the HTML directory displayer we use a right-pointing red arrow. Now there will be a new nodetype called "include" -- when you 2click one of these nodes the included outline is fetched over the Internet and filled in under the node, exactly like linking to an OPML file now. But we'll have an opportunity to give it its own icon. Now the question: What should that icon be? # Posted by Dave Winer on 3/6/06; 11:26:56 AM - --
